iFotoalbum presents your photo collection, which you manange with, for instance, iPhoto or another Asset Management Program, in a suitable enviroment like your local area network or the internet. Beside the normal functions for presentation, the application offers you a lot of additional functions.

Price, license and shipment

iFotoalbum is 20 Euros oder 20 US Dollars, including VAT. A license bought for this price, can only be installed on one server and only one time. The application is shipped by eMail as a compressed .sit or .zip archive. For fastest installation under MacOS X a installer is included. iFotoalbum is not shareware or freeware and must not be redistributed. Your license is shipped after your payment had arrived. Foreign buyers can pay by sending the payment (cash only!) by mail. There is no account for online payment like Paypal or else and there won¥t be any account.

Special functions

Every visitor of your iFotoalbum can log onto a vip area by entering a user name and password. In this area the visitor has the possibility to put togheter his own photo album to access his favorites fast and at any time. Every vip area can contain infinite albums. Photos, which a visitor bookmarked, can me put into these albums.

The admin has a huge amount of functions available. The most interesting function is to directly connect other iFotoalbums by registering at a "tracker"of iN-MEDiA, where already other admins have registered their iFotoalbums. Everybody can easily connect to other albums by clicking onto "server list". Of coure, you can edit the server name and add a description. A registration lasts one day and is automatically extended on the first visit on the next day.

Administrators can enable or disable EXIF information, which are included in almost every photo. As soon as a description for a photo is added by an admin, visitors can check EXIF preferences if they want.

Click onto "structure" to decide which language iFotoalbum should use and which application should be used for exporting pictures. Thus a iFotoalbum can be customized without much effort. "Language preferences" switches the language of the iFotoalbum application.

Only the admin of the iFotoalbum server may assign albums to specific users. Is a public album assigned to a specific visitor, then others are unable to see that album. The visitor, to whom a album was assigned, is displayed by a red name.

Admins can individually add detailed descriptions to every photo, which are displayed above a picture. These descriptions can be easily hidden by any visitor. Copyright information is fast set up, particulary when it is needed thus a picture is subject of copyright.
